Our full review
58 h on testThe DJI Mic is a compact wireless microphone system built specifically for content creators, vloggers, and streamers who need broadcast-quality audio without the complexity of traditional setups. The system consists of small transmitter units that clip onto clothing and a receiver that plugs into cameras, smartphones, or capture cards, allowing creators to capture clean dialogue whether recording a YouTube video, hosting a live stream, or filming on the move. Each transmitter doubles as a lavalier mic and doubles as onboard storage, meaning audio can be recorded directly to the device itself as a backup, eliminating the fear of dropped signal ruining a take during outdoor shoots or crowded events.
What sets the DJI Mic apart in the streaming and creator tools space is its seamless integration with the broader content creation workflow. The receiver offers real-time monitoring through a headphone jack, adjustable gain control, and a small screen that displays signal strength and battery life at a glance, so streamers can make quick adjustments without digging through menus mid-broadcast. Its charging case not only protects the transmitters and receiver but also recharges them between uses, giving creators multiple hours of usable runtime across a full day of filming, interviews, or live sessions without needing to hunt for an outlet.
Durability and portability were clearly priorities in the design, making the DJI Mic a favorite among mobile journalists, podcasters, and social media creators who shoot in unpredictable environments. The compact form factor slips easily into a pocket or small camera bag, while the dual-channel recording capability allows two people to be miked simultaneously for interviews or co-hosted streams. Combined with DJI’s reputation for reliable wireless connectivity and minimal audio dropout, the Mic has become a go-to accessory for creators looking to elevate their sound quality across YouTube, TikTok, Twitch, and other platforms where crisp, clear audio can make or break audience engagement.
What owners say
4 verified reviews · 456 votes countedI clip this on and forget about audio issues completely. Range is incredible, even through my house walls, and battery lasts my entire shoot day with the case.
Audio quality is crisp and the setup takes seconds. Only wish the windscreen came included since wind noise is noticeable outdoors without it.
Used this for run-and-gun interviews on the street and it never dropped signal. The dual channel receiver is perfect for two-person conversations.
Much better than my camera's built-in shotgun mic. Wish it had onboard recording like the newer version, but for the price it's still excellent.
