Short version: we don't sell your data, we don't ask you to make an account, and the only personal information we hold is an email address if you choose to give us one.
1. What we collect
We keep this deliberately small:
- Analytics data — pages visited, approximate region, device and browser type, and how you arrived. Collected via Google Analytics and tied to a random identifier, not to your name.
- Email address — only if you subscribe to our newsletter. Nothing else is required.
- Technical logs — IP address and request data, kept briefly by our host for security and abuse prevention.
We do not ask for, and do not store, your name, address, payment details or account credentials. Purchases happen entirely on the retailer's site under their privacy policy.
2. How we use it
- To understand which reviews are useful so we know what to test next.
- To keep the site fast and detect abuse.
- To send the newsletter, if you asked for it.
- To measure whether an affiliate referral converted — reported to us in aggregate, never per-person.
We do not build advertising profiles, and we do not sell or rent personal data to anyone, ever.
3. Cookies & analytics
We ask for consent before setting non-essential cookies. Decline and analytics stays off — the site works exactly the same. Full detail lives in our Cookie Policy.
4. Advertising & affiliate links
Product links on this site are affiliate links. When you click one, the retailer may set its own cookie to credit us for the referral. We may earn a commission on qualifying purchases at no extra cost to you. Display ads shown on this site are served by third parties who may use cookies subject to your consent choice.

5. Who we share with
Only the processors that make the site run: our hosting provider, Google Analytics, our email delivery provider, and our ad partners. Each is bound by its own agreement to process data only on our instructions. We disclose data to authorities only where legally required.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under GDPR and CCPA), you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct anything inaccurate.
- Request deletion — for us this generally means removing your email from the list.
- Object to or restrict processing, and withdraw consent at any time.
- Ask for a portable copy of your data.
Email hello@castercove.com and we'll action it within 30 days. There's no charge, and we won't degrade the site for you because you asked.
7. Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Newsletter data sits with our email provider behind access controls. No system is perfect, but we hold very little worth stealing — which is the point.
8. Children
CasterCove is not directed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we'll delete it.
9. Changes
If we change this policy materially we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
